Southwestern Asia is a really big part of our life. We hear it in the news many times, is labeled or posted into magazines, and even in textbooks like, "Exploring Our World". Sometimes, we have trouble with our connection and communication with Southwest Asia. Mostly, with its culture. Now the question is, "How does Southwest Asian Culture influence my life in daily bases"?

My first reason to how Southwestern Asian Culture influenece my life in daily bases is that many womens, mostly in Saudi Arabia, wear an abaya(robes) and niqab (veil). This in my life I could see almost everyday. I see women walking around or work with their traditional clothings. That makes me wonder what the world would turn out to be. This is my first reason.

My second reason to why Southwest Asian Culture influences in my daily bases is that I see many people try to raise livestocks. Like, the people in Jordan's desert found in "Exploring The World" textbook. The monks raise livestocks because the resources in Jordan are lacking like water. So, it begins to dry up. This is my second reason.

My third reason to why Southwest Asian Culture influences to my daily life is that people manufacture industries. Everytime I go to somewhere I see people who are mostly homeless make crafts or create something to sell it to raise taxes. This happens to Asia a lot. Many people now live in cities on the streets and create features of different varieties of industries. This is my third reason.

My fourth reason is that some people pray and bow down to believe in what they believe in. Like, people in Iraq. The citizens pray at the mosque. Almost billions of people pray on their knees and bow down. It's really affecting our way of life. This can change many people's culture.

My last reason is that people follow their own rules in specific places. People in Asia follow their way of culture in the U.S. Many citizens ignore their rules in their homelands and do their way of living as we now people do. This is a really big influence because this does the most damage in the world. This is my last reason.

In conclusion, this is why Asiian Culture influence in my life. I have seen people struggle. I have seen people succeed. There are many ways the culture can also change our world. But, we are responsible for many damages that we have done.

  2. Southern Asian culture effects me in a way that is hard to explain. It goes from the most popular interests down to the wars and fixings of the country's economy or taking control of the violence. In the news, you see Iraq and Iran many times being controlled by U.S military men. You see and hear about why we are in Southern Asia, money or power. In every way, Southern Asia is effecting me and the ones around me.

One reason that South Asia effects me is how people from there come to our country and share themselves/ways with us. People that come here and have the strength to brush through all the hate and still offer their brain for us to pick at. These people are my friends as well. People in class are from Southern Asia even if they don't know it at all yet they make fun of their classmates who are from there but know it. I show appreciation to those who do not fight back do to them wanting peace. We need more of this in the world!

Another reason is there ways of sticking to there culture. No matter what they stay close to the thing(s) that they feel are most important. Most people that I see that are from South Asia are either very religious and smart, but struggling to see things through. They effect me by making me see that the way im living now is something that I and everyone else should cherish. It makes me feel like im not living in a way that I should be because of where I am placed on this earth.

My final reason is the way they are thankful for their days. No matter how much we stumble over them due to rudeness, they love life. They are so up lifting and very balanced in life. Also, they take their knowledge and take advantage of it to learn more. They never stop and because of that, they are fixing their country's wrong doing(s) that have occured in the past.

South Asia gives the word change a new meaning. Everywhere, you see people trying to change and fix their lives and make the new generation's lives better to save them from corruption and violence. The people are striving to make their country better and are taking action against terrorism in their villages and cities. Also, America is helping by taking charge and showing them that no matter what, we are there for them. We are giving them support.

Everywhere we go, you spot an Indian or an Asian. So what do you think of that person when you walk past them? Do you think that you are better because you are an American? Do you feel superior because you think your smarter? People from South Asia are probably more intelligent. Intelligence doesn't come from slick hair n great style. Intelligence comes from hard work which is what you would most likely see in South Asia. They work day and night to make sure they get it paid off in the end.

Is it okay for women to be buried alive in white sheets and have stones thrown at them; while Muslim men and boys throw rock-hard stones at them while clutching the holy Koran under their arms? Is it okay for men and women to not be able to have service together; but instead have a partition separating every part of the mosque? Is it okay for girls to not be able to lead prayer or for girls to have to begin the daily practices of Islam before boys of the same culture? Is it okay for every question a Muslim might have to be answered with “Read the Koran”, a book in which can only properly be read in it’s original language by 20% of Muslims, because the Koran is said to be corrupted if read in another language. So, is it okay for a society to be ruled by men and a bible that allows women to be treated of a lesser value than men? In the following paragraphs; I will explain Islam behind the burkas, and the Koran and how this society has influenced our world today.

Islam is a religion that believes in one god, Allah or The God in Arabic. Islam’s bible is known as the Koran or Quran. Many Muslims, who do not speak Arabic, must learn the language in order to read the Quran in its original version. Islam’s church is called a mosque and in some countries mosque are segregated into male and female sections. The followers of Islam are known as Muslims. “Muslims strive to fulfill the Five Pillars of Islam-acts of worship that are required from the faithful.” “The fist duty is the statement of faith: “There is no God but Allah, and Muhammad is his messenger.” “Second, Muslims must pray five times a day while facing Makkah.” “The third duty is to give money to help people in need.” “The fourth duty is to fast, or not eat or drink, during daylight hours of the holy month of Ramadan.” “This is the month, according to Muslim beliefs, in which Muhammad received the first message from god.” “The last pillar of faith is to undertake a holy journey, or haji.” “Once in each Muslim’s life, he or she must, if able, journey to Makkah to pray.” This is my description of the religion of Islam.

The religion of Islam has spread world-wide specifically in the countries of Southwest Asia. In fact, in most southwest-Asia countries the leaders of a country have to be Muslim or believe in the religion of Islam. Also, in some cases people have become Muslim because growing up their family was Muslim so it becomes, a part of “who you are”, said Irshad Manji, author of the book-The Trouble with Islam Today. According to international studies countries in South-west Asia, like Afghanistan have a population of approximately 99% Muslims. The rest of the population is made up of Christianity and other religions. Also in other countries such as Iraq and Iran, about 90-97 % of the population is Muslim. To add, the Islam faith has also spread to America. This statement can be shown through everyday American women that can be seen in traditional Muslim veil and robes called burkas that fully conceal the body and the head. Other ways in which Islam has influence the world today is through immigration. Also, many well-known American leaders and celebrities are Muslim. Some of these leaders are Malcolm X, Muhammad Ali, and many more.

Other examples of how Islam influences our world today is through American diet. For example, some Muslims do not eat pork because it is considered an unclean animal. So in some school lunches, including Central Jersey College Prep, the option of a Halal meat choice is provided. Another example of the way Islam has influenced our world today is through our dialect. Studies show that Muslims who are born in the countries of South-west Asia have Arabic as a major language. Arabic happens to be the same language in which the Koran is printed in.

  4. Islam has also influenced our world today through our school schedules. For instance; in some countries of South-west Asia, school schedules are formatted to leave time for the assigned times during the day in which Muslims are supposed to have prayer. Another example of the influence of Islam on the world today is the haji, or the trip that Muslims must take to complete a portion of the Five Pillars of Islam. For example, I know people who are Muslims and have gone to Mecca on of the holy cities to complete one of the Five Pillars of Islam.

Another example of the influence Islam has had on the world today is through American holidays. For example, most Muslims do not celebrate Christmas. This is part of the reason why the word Merry X-Mas was formed. Also if a student wants to give a Muslim teacher a Christmas gift, many people would not give decorated holiday mugs or cards that represent Christmas,

Overall, we are shown how Islam has influenced our world today. These influences are shown through our clothing, dialect, diet, and even school lunches. In the end, Islam does have a great influence on our world today, but so do other religions. So I would like to end my essay by saying that I hope this essay has inspired you to learn more about the society of Islam and how it affects and influences your world .Thank you.

Southwest Asia culture influences your life because you hear many things about Islam. There are many things on Asia. Especially the wars from Iraq. Many things that happen in Asia are anounced on the news. Not just the news also newspapers and other public informational areas.

This influences me because I always think of the way they dress. Women especially because I am a girl. The women wear an abaya (ropes) and also a niqab (veil). These women can not show there bodies in public. Only in theree homes to relatives or husband.

Don't you hear the wars in Iraq? That informtion is normally on the news. The wars are important. Many people are sad and disappointed since many people that we loose and are strong enough to fight for our country. It's either family and or close friends. These wars are really big and serious to is.

Southwestern Asia has many states that are not doing well. Such as Pakistan. At the moment there are many people homeless. This is disappointing. It's not nice to know that people are homeless and are suffering of thirst and hunger. Now here in New Jersey you see someone on the streets, and you already feel bad. Imagine seeing someone in Pakistan, it's as sad as here.

Also in Pakistan I don't like the way the women are mistreated. A women in Pakistan doesn't have the same rights as the men. That's why to me the women aren't treated preciously like they are suppost to be. I would like for that to change. The women should be precious and taken good care of and also loved.

Think of the enconomy. Also at the moment they are doing poorly. USA is not the best but a bit better than places in Southwest Asia. Most of the countries around there, the enconomy is low. But the most known for me is Turkey. They are so well on the money and the government.

I hope that in the future these cultures/ traditions in the countires change. Especially on the poorness like in the wars. Also the way men mistreat there women. Hope that in not many years this changes. So that it can be a btter continent in all the expectations, and brings more peace around.

Southwestern Asia, a sub-continent you hear almost everyday on the news. T.V, newspapers, magazines, internet, books, Southwestern Asia is very popular. Although it is popular, there are sometimes when things are troubled between our country and other groups, countries, and cultures of Asia. So if we hear about it everyday, "How does Southwestern Asia's cultures influence my/our life on a daily basis"?

The poverty over there in Southwestern Asia affects my life. It makes me think how lucky my life is and how thankful I am for not having a life in poverty. In some rural areas, children in Southwestern Asia beg for money. These kids are living in streets and slums. They can also be refugees from war or any natural disasters.

The cultures of Southwestern Asia makes me think of the way things happen there. For women over there, they have to follow certain rules. Some of these rules apply to their appearance and ways. For instance, women in Saudi Arabia wear abayas or robes that cover most of their bodies and niquab or veils that cover there faces. It makes me feel some what sorry because they all must follow rules while in the U.S, we are free to wear whatever we want.

Another way that Southwestern Asia influences my life is the manufacturing businesses there. For instance, there are many oil rich regions there. The U.S gets most of their oil from there. If we didn't get oil from there, our cars here wont run. Our nation has many car companies that relies on oil from Southwestern Asia.

The war and terrorism from Southwestern Asia influences my life. They affect how I feel and my actions. It makes me feel unsafe sometimes, knowing that at any moment there can be an attack. It influences my action because in order to protect others I could go into the army. Over in Iraq, it affects many people. Some homeless, others are deciding to fight back. One thing is certain though, they do want the war and terrorism to end.

In conclusion, Southwestern Asia has good and bad influences. Most of which is good, there are possibilities for a good and bad future. I hope Southwestern Asia cultures will influence most of America and gain respect to. I also wish that people in Southwestern Asia have a better government than it is now. If they fix their problems now, they'll have a peaceful future.

Islamic Culture is a term primarily used in secular academia to describe the cultural practices common to historically Islamic peoples. As the religion of Islam originated in the 7th century Arabia, the early forms of Muslim Culture were predominantly Arab.Islamic Culture consist of Arabic,Persian, and South Asian.

Early Musilim literature is Arabic. As that was the language of Muhammad's communities in Mecca and Medina. As the early history of the Muslim community was focused and established the religion of Islam, and its literary output was religious in character.

By the time of the Abbasid empire, Persian had become one of the main languages of Muslim civilization.Much of the most famous Muslim literature is thus persian literature,In modern times, classification of writers by lsnguage is increasingly irreleant.

Islamic art,a part of Islamic studies,Has throughout history been mainly abstract and decoraive, portraying, geometric, floral, arabesque, and calligraphic designs.Unlike the strong traditions of portrsying the humanfigure in christian art.Islamic Art often does not include depictions of living things, including human beings.

Islmaic music is Muslim religious music,as sung or played in public services or private devotions. The classic heartland of Islam is Arabia and the middle,East,North Africa, and Egypt,Iran,Central Asia and Northern India, and Pakistan.Because Islma is a multicultural religion, the musical expression of its adherents is diverse.

Islamic culture influences me in so many ways. By its music, art, culture, and environment. All these religions are connected and they influence me to be creative and diverse. Islamic culture has influenced me to who I am today
